Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Storyboard Artist at Chakrra LLC. The Storyboard Artist will be responsible for creating visual storytelling through storyboarding, 2D animation, drawing, concept art, and animation. They will collaborate with the creative team to bring ideas to life and contribute to the development of engaging content.

Qualifications

• Storyboarding and Concept Art skills
• Ability to create visually compelling storytelling
• Experience in 2D animation and strong understanding of animation technicalities
• Solid knowledge of camera angles and cinematography techniques
• Strong layout and design skills
• Proficient in reading scripts to ascertain the look required and sketch designs
• Adept in working with any Storyboarding software/app
• Skills in both hand drawing and computer drawing
• Ability to provide animations and transitions for final animation.
• Knowledge of various animation styles and genres
• Ability to interpret the ideas of others into sufficiently detailed frames

• Proven ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and collaborate with team members in different time zones
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment (quick turnarounds and short timelines)
• Ensure deadlines are consistently met and communicate progress of work on daily basis to appropriate production staff
